So, you've already seen the photos of Riley at the church fair from Sunday, so here is an update from the rest of the weekend.
Saturday, I had plans to take Riley to Baby Loves Disco, which was scheduled to start at 2pm. So, I asked Russell to take her out in the morning and exhaust her so she could have an early nap. And just that, he did! He took her to Muir Woods for a huge hike under the redwoods.
She had a load of fun looking for the moose, which apparently lives under the big trees. And now, her new obsession is moose. She looks for them everywhere we go. Especially if there are trees.
And then, after her nap, I took her to the disco! And we had so much fun. There was a competition for the Best Little Dancer in America, but unfortunately, it was too soon after we had arrived, and she hadn't come out of her shell yet. Next time, I'm sure she'll shake that bum-bum for the judges, in the true Riley form!! She found many other toys to play with, and tons of yummy snacks. Oh, and she was fascinated by the disco ball.
