Riley's famous.

Of course she is! But, this is for real... I have been appointed the Publicity Chairperson of her preschool (I know, she's only been going there for a week, but hey, I guess I have a talent for it), and I set up a table at Sunday Streets to promote our Harvest Festival fundraiser. Riley was out on her bike, and caught the photographer, Lacy Atkins' eye. The photo is above, too, just in case they ever take it down from the Chronicle's site. Oh, by the way (speaking of publicity), if you ever shop at Amazon.com, please use the link on Playmates site for your purchases, as we get a kickback (some low percentage) from every purchase made using our link. Fundraising never stops! We always need new crayons....

Maaaaan, I've been busy. And I thought I was busy in the days of the work world. Being a preschool Publicity Chair is just as grueling. But, I suppose, only if you make it so. Which I do. I take no job lightly.

Enough about me. Riley decided today that she's COMPLETELY done with diapers. OK. So, she's been potty-trained for how long now? 6 months or so? Well, now, she wants to sleep with her panties on. We made a deal with her. YOU sleep in your own bed all night, and we will let you wear your panties. So, here we go. Can she do it? Who knows. I hope so! She peed and pooped twice before bed, and didn't have any water for a while. I'll let ya know (fingers crossed).

This past week, we went to Berkeley with Randi/Jasper and Kathy/Anthony/Adrianna to ride the steam train. It's the REAL DEAL. Has a fire inside the engine and everything. Super cool. The kids were in awe. Even Riley, as a little "lady-boy". Oh, right, they call that a "tom-boy". Why? Tom's a boy's name. Anyhow, I digress....

And, they had a carousel. And amazingly good food! Home-cooked burgers, quesadillas... the nine. Yum! It was a good day, altogether.

OK. I have to work my preschool coop shift tomorrow, so I must go now.
