Riley set the pace. Coral was the nudist whacker. Nick was the superhearo with the mostest. Juliet kicked some serious butt on the girls' side. Rohan grinned the most. Anthony looked super-cute in his blue hat. Randi tried to cheat... Jacob came up with the new javelin strategy.
Piñatas always bring the best... and worst... out of people. Unfortunately, my video camera died before the piñata broke. Still, check this out:
The piñata was stuffed by grammy on the birthday party, but we forgot about it! So I couldn't remember what was inside. We were pleasantly surprised (two months later) that the contents held PlayDoh, bubbles, and a little bit of candy, which amazingly enough, none of these kids recognized as something worthwile. Guess we're doing our job as parents!
This all happened to be at the Halloween playdate Riley and I hosted in honor of Pam and Jacob's return to SF (they moved to Texas last year, and we were super-psyched they returned for a visit). The funniest moment I've ever experienced was taken at that playdate. Priceless! Don't miss this one!
But aside from that, the rest of the day was truly amazing. Costumes were optional, thank God, cause most of them were shed upon entry. Riley was a fairy princess. Some photos were captured. Enjoy!
