Well, we had a great weekend, even though the weather didn't cooperate. Didn't rain, but was just chilly and overcast. Saturday, we tried to go to the Union Street Fair, but drove around for 1/2 hour looking for parking. Decided to go to Fillmore Street for a cocktail instead. Good choice! Too many frat idiots at Union Street, anyhow.
Saturday night, grammy babysat and let Russell and me go for sushi and a drink. We went to the Riptide, which I really liked. Riley cooperated for about 2 hours, then realized she missed her bedtime feeding from mom, and woke up in a fit. Fortunately, we were nearby and could comply with her demands.
Sunday morning, we went to Ava's first birthday party! She's such a doll. And what a beautiful, antique dress.
