The big double birthday bash

Well today was the second annual Riley/Russell birthday bash, and we had a great time. The weather was questionable at first, but around 4pm, when the party started, the sun came out and it was beautiful! Thanks, Mother Nature, you owed us that, after your horrible display of weather at last year's bash. We had a nice, big turnout, and I even remembered to hand out the party favors!








Here is the infamous Riley/Coral hug. To my side of the family, I'd say that photos of these two girls are the equivalent to photos of my mom and Kathy. Anyone interested, please inquire.... it really is quite the gut-buster!!!



The cutest gift award goes to Paige and Nelson, Paige being Russell's former work partner, for matching froggy hats. TOO CUTE!!!!!

And here she is, bathed and ready for bed, with her favorite gift of the day, the shopping cart from Marcus and Christie. She loved it so much, that she screamed and cried until I put it beside her bed, with her hand on it, when she went to sleep. And she still loves it, 3 weeks later. Even better with real groceries inside, thanks to grammy!
